WHY JAYALALITHAA IS A STATES(WO)MAN?

A statesman is a person who thinks truly to the heart and says the same before the mass convincingly, without fear or favour. When the entire mass thinks in one direction he thinks to the root of the problem and comes with a solution.

To day entire India is paralysed by the hype created by Anna Hazaare Show, at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. I wonder what fruitful thing will come out of his hunger strike. Even if a bill is passed on the strict lines drafted by Mr. Anna and his people, I don't think that will change or likely to change the Corrupt ruling elite. Most of us or easily attracted by the hunger fast, like that one created by the cricket world cup. But we all fail to notice the truth that was bravely stated by Ms. Jayalalithaa  Jayaram, the Chief Minister is in Wait of Tamil Nadu, showing true statesmanship.

Ms. Burqa Dutt of NDTV asks Jayalalithaa in midst of her election campaign her views on the hunger strike. Jayalalithaa, while welcoming the hunger strike says that she support people like Anna Hazaare and there is no second thought on eradication of corruption in this country. She wondered how far it is possible with passing just a Bill? She said, the need of the hour is execution of and governance. When the executive (Prime Minister) is weak, spineless and not brave enough to take against the corrupt people there is no use of drafting one more bill.

How practical she is? If the Lokpal bill is headed by people like Thomas or A.Raja, what will happen to the cases inquired by the Lokpal. There is no use. This Government has shamelessly nominated Thomas to be the head of Central Vigilance Commission. They continued to support his candidature till it was struck down by the Supreme Court. They willfully flew away hardcore criminals like Warren Anderson (Bhopal Gas tragedy) and Ottavio Quatrocchi (Bofors fame). They shed no shy in shielding the people who stashed away Indian Money in foreign lands. How can we believe that a new Lokpal will do wonders with these kind of people at the helm. Jayalalithaa bravely showed the truth that the need of the hour is strong executive than the law.
